Almost all the regions emphasize the important of Truth and still it is misunderstood. The definition of truth is misunderstood by most people. It is rare for people to pause and rethink their beliefs of trivial definitions that they hold. Interestingly, these definitions are explanations that help us understand the meaning of these terms, and we apply this knowledge to formulate sentences. Language itself is a form of knowledge created by humans that we use for communication and to interact with each other.

The human mind is wired to understand things, not to memorize them. It seems to register the explanatory theories (understanding) that we derive from life events, not the plain facts. You can read about it here. Framework of Mind

The truth is the fundamental singular operating system of the universe. It is the laws of physics that govern the universe. Often, the things that people consider truth are not the truth but the misinterpretations of it. Those are their misunderstandings. The real test of the truth is against reality itself. Reality is the real testing ground of the validity of the truth. We do not need to ask someone for verification. One can verify it in real time. So maybe this is why we need to act out our beliefs to find out their validity. And more important than all to question everything.

Finding the truth requires following the answers to "why" to the very core of our existence. This starts from the very basic units of our knowledge. Then we can build upon it. Things need to be tested out against reality over and over again, so failure is the path towards truth.

One truth builds over another, so until we clean the very core of it, we cannot hope to live on the surface and be able to find the truth. Or maybe we can—I don't think so.

Reality will follow the rules of truth, and expecting it otherwise is deliberately making ourselves suffer. So there is no point in being frustrated about things turning out the way they are. Truth sets us free.
